Strategy

Addressing art through our affect allows us to reconnect with our sensitivity, to detect our emotions and gain a better knowledge of ourselves and what surrounds us.

The idea is to promote a different way of appreciating art allows the viewer to go beyond preconceptions and gives way to more authenticity and empathy.

Otoco’s ambition is to create deep personal experiences when encountering works of art, by proposing a process of openness and understanding that involves the viewer and disrupts the hegemony of artistic (re)presentation.

Identity

Learning to open all or different senses when confronted to a piece of art allows us to enjoy percieve the multiple (often subtle) layers that make its richness.

The visual solution for this project invites the viewer to ‘look again’. Our senses, feelings and our moods can change from one moment to another, altering our vision on the world we live in.

The logo is set in a plain and simple ‘sans serif’ typeface. But suddenly, like our mood swings, it has the ability to morph itself into an infinity of distorted variations.
